Snorkel Snoopy Island
Coral within swimming distance of the beach at Al Aqah, on the Gulf of Oman side. Turtles are routine; reef sharks are common and harmless.
Fujairah is the only emirate with no Arabian Gulf coast at all: its city faces the Gulf of Oman, backed by the Hajar range, which gives it deeper water, clearer diving and a different weather pattern from the rest of the country.
