The east coast
The east coast faces the Gulf of Oman rather than the Arabian Gulf, and everything follows from that: the water is deeper and clearer, the diving is the country's best, and the weather can be entirely different from Dubai's on the same day. It spans Fujairah and Sharjah's exclaves, and the mountains come down almost to the beach.
